Ghost Disease

In North Korea, there is a poisoning that causes many symptoms, some life-altering and some leading to death. The name “Ghost Disease” was given to the effects from the nuclear bomb tests because the radiation (ionizing radiation) poisoned many people and killed them.

With the chemicals lingering from the failed bomb attempts, it’s causing some newborns to be born with birth defects and causing other civilians sickness and death. It has been reported that one couple in the country birthed a baby with no genitalia, and because the North Korean government typically kills deformed babies (so the race will stay pure and strong), they normally make parents with deformed children get an abortion. The parents took it upon themselves to kill the child.

A victim of the radiation poisoning said, ‘‘We thought we were dying because we were poor and ate badly. Now we know it’s the radiation.”

The birth defects aren’t the only effect of the radiation. According to the World Health Organization, the exposure of the nuclear bomb debris and exposed radiated chemicals can also impair organs and tissues from functioning correctly or at all and may possibly cause cancer depending on exposure levels.

Along with the defects and death, the consequences of angering leaders from other countries leading them to wanting to start war or at least get vengeance. The failed missile launches and the threats North Korea are presenting have caused not only the United States but also Japan to want to attack Kim Jong Un because of the failed missile landing near their country after he threatened “four islands of the (Japanese) archipelago should be sunken into the sea by the nuclear bomb of Juche.”

The most apparent threat was North Korea’s hydrogen bomb threat towards Guam in mid-August.

The main reason why North Korea is acting this way is because in the past our presidents have given North Korea what they wanted with the threats, but now that Trump is in the office and denying what they want, they are getting upset and threatening the United States.

With the latest news, there was a planned meeting between Kim Jong Un and Trump to supposedly make a truce. Now that North Korea is calming down, Russia is starting to show off their newest missile and attack weapons, warning other countries that they are preparing for war.

Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, mentioned in a speech on March 8, 2018 that he has an “invincible” missile.  This missile is said to be able to dodge anything in it’s way (buildings, mountains, etc.) and attack the target head on, which, if they have grudge against us, may destroy a major city.

With the latest information still yet to be provided, the information that has been provided may help us prepare for any attack yet to come now not necessarily from North Korea, but from their ally, Russia.

With Russia now testing their missiles, if they continuously test their bombs like North Korea did that could turn into both Russia and North Korea having the nuclear radiation poisoning. With Russia in proximity to us, we need to keep ourselves protected, just incase the nuclear wastes affect our country.
