Running Towards the Top

Pahrump Vally High school cross country team has been busy putting in the work. Currently, they are practicing for the Foothill falcon invitational on September 24th. The cross country team ran a 3-mile run on September 17th at the Four corners invitational in Arizona. Unfortunately, they placed 17th place on the varsity 3-mile run with a score of 408. Although on September 10th at the Larry-Burgess-Las Vegas invitational at Veterans memorial park, We did place 6th with a total score of 179 in the Men’s 5,000 Meters Varsity Small School Boys Run. Amazingly the cross country team has been putting in the effort this season and is currently getting ready to run again for the upcoming races. Although they’ve only had a few races so far, there’s no doubt that the cross country team this year is really going all in and showing their best endeavors to come out on top.
