Mr. Funk is a automotive technician that is sharing his love of cars with students. Mr.Funk he teaches automotive class in room 117. Some students love cars and others don’t he is sharing with both kind of students, he wants to help students by teaching them about automotive.
Teaching can’t be something you just do for money, you have to enjoy it. To enjoy teaching you have to be comfortable with kids and young adults.
Mr. Funk says, “I enjoy teaching automotive specifically because, I love cars, I love what I do, I love fixing them, I love building cars, making them fast and, making them look cool, I hopefully inspiring my students to love the same thing, or at least love some part of the same thing.”

I’m always having to stay up on things and having to learn, and It’s always a challenge every car you get in your bay. If you’re a service tech, it is different. It’s a different problem and a different set of things that I have to figure out. It’s like being a doctor for cars and I love it.”
Mr. Funk is a great teacher that cares for every student. He wants to inspire students to love what he loves or some part of it and helps everybody that asks for it. He is like every other teacher that works at PVHS. He loves his job.

The statement of “Mr. Funk is a great teacher that cares for every student” is incredibly accurate and true, because Mr. Funk cares for all of his students and puts up with all of the annoyances Auto II in period two. He gets furious at us when we make jokes or go on a “strike,” but deals with us anyway and makes jokes with us. He is also extremely strict on safety since the machinery can severely injure us (everyone in program) and Mr. Funk does not want us to be injured or repeat his or Mr. Funk’s past co-worker’s past mistakes with machinery or welding equipment. I personally am going to stay in the program until I can no longer go forward with it, because Mr. Funk is strict with safety, but forgiving with his anger at our annoyances.

This article explains Mr. Funk’s love for cars, I’ve been around cars all my life, and is “like being a doctor for cars.” Everything on a car that has been ran on the street will be different such as wear patterns, faulty parts, design etc. It’s amazing his passion to teach students all types of different procedures in fixing cars.

I like the article, its very expressive and shows hoe Mr. Funk loves his job. He made it very clear, “…I love cars, I love what I do, I love fixing them, I love building cars…? As a student for Mr. Funk he is a great teacher and always will want the best for the student and pushed them to do better and help you understand the tasks you need to do on the vehicles.

I found it interesting to hear about Mr. Funk’s values and his outlook on teaching. From his statements as well as his actions, it’s apparent that he is passionate about what he does. It was good of you to write this article and regard a staff member in a positive light. There are a few errors, but I like the concept.

This article is very interesting, Mr. Funk is my Auto II teacher. I believe that “Mr. Funk is a great teacher that cares for every students.” I have been with Mr. Funk for the past two years in his CTE class and the way he teaches, he cares for his students. Not only does he love his job and love teaching students, but he cares for them like they were his own children. Mr. Funk is a stupendous teacher at PVHS.

Good subject! I think we need more articles like this, and I am sure teachers will appreciate the interest and recognition, A few minor errors, but a great start nonetheless.
