What is Love?
Is it just a feeling?
November 30, 2018
I personally think love is a great feeling. Love makes you happy, love creates hope, love makes you graceful, love inspires, and love changes your life.
Love can be found all over the world. True love is when you can’t stop thinking about the other person, can’t bear a single moment without them.
According to Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, they have been married for 19 years! Just as Denzel and Paulette Washington who have been married for 33 years, as well as Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness have been married for 20 years! These Celebrities are mostly all actors, from what I see all these actors must be deep in love for it to have lasted so long.
However, this kind of love is rare. Find the person that you are looking for, and ask them if you want to become closer. Seize the moment!
If you are in love with someone and they don’t know, tell them how you feel. If they turn you down, at least they know how you feel. So when you see your crush walking past you, or even in gym class, tell them you like them and you can’t stop thinking about them. There are so many ways to express love, this is only one of them.
You are loved every day from your family, and obviously your friends. Being in love can be hard sometimes. Whether or not it’s easy, you will be loved one day.
If you change who that person is, you aren’t getting to know the right person. Even if they are a weirdo, they are your weirdo and nobody else’s.
In Ellen McGrath’s article, on Psychologytoday.com, she writes “love is as critical for your mind and body as oxygen.” She adds that “to get love and keep love, you have to go out and be active and learn a variety of specific skills. I concur, love is a rare feeling to have, learn how to control love, don’t let it bring you down.
In Emily Esfahani Smith’s article, on Atlantic.com, she notes that “every day in June, the most popular wedding month of the year, about 13,000 American couples will say ‘I do.’” She adds that “kindness, on the other hand, glues couples together. Research independent from theirs has shown that kindness is the most important satisfaction.” I agree with Emily, because I specifically agree that kindness is everywhere!
Basically, love is kindness. And kindness is everywhere. All I’m trying to say is that you are loved, nothing will ever change that. Whether you like it or not you’re loved, and you know it.
