Signing day at PVHS took place in the auditorium on February 7, 2019 for Nico Vasquez, Willie Lucas and Zach Trieb. A good crowd showed up to support and congratulate them and their future endeavors.

Willie Lucas signed to Big Bend College of Colombia Basin in Washington State to play baseball. He will be studying Environmental Safety Management and later plans on becoming a Firefighter. “High school is not as bad as people make it out to be, overall it was pretty easy,” Lucas said. Hopefully his college career goes just as smoothly as his high school experience.

Zach Trieb signed to Ottawa University in Surprise, Arizona to play football. He plans to study pre-med biology and in the future hopes to attend graduate school. “I chose this school because it’s close to home,” said Trieb.

Nico Velasquez also signed to Ottawa University to play football. He’s studying pre-med biology and hopes to become a nurse. “I chose to go to Ottawa to pave the way for other athletes and hopefully be one of the best,” Nico said.

They all have bright futures ahead of them and from us, let’s wish them the best of luck on their endeavors in life.
