RTX 30 Series of GPUs

Jacob Gonzalez, Technology Management

The new lineup of Nvidia GPUs has everyone in the tech industry and people at home waiting desperately for these new cards to come out. To put it simply these GPUs have better specifications than the older RTX 20 series of graphics cards and with a newer and better, much-improved microarchitecture codenamed Ampere, the successor to the last generation Volta microarchitecture.

Four new cards named RTX 3060, 3070, 3080, and the top of the line 3090, the RTX 3090 card shows much bigger improvements such as new GDDR6x memory and much more sleek design. These cards are not cheap in the slightest, with the RTX 3090 costing a whopping $1,499 compared to the TITAN RTX from yesteryears costing at a mind-blowing $2,499, with the 3090 having almost as much power and performance as a TITAN RTX and being half the price is astounding.

Back to the subject of RTX 3090, it is confirmed that it is capable of 8k HDR gaming and flawless streaming and its size being almost doubled the size of an RTX 2080 TI Founders Edition.
