The Most Delicious Banana Bread!

Do you like bananas? If so, have you ever made or tried banana bread? Whenever you feel like baking something quick and easy right in your kitchen, banana bread is the best option. Here I will show and explain to you how to bake easy and delicious banana bread. 

When picking out bananas, get the ones that are dark brown- the darker the sweeter and tastier the banana bread will be. You also need to make sure and put the right amount of every ingredient and bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes to get the perfect banana bread.

 

You will need : 

½ cup butter

1 cup sugar

2 eggs, beaten

3 bananas, finely crushed

1 ½ cups flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon vanilla

½ cup of chopped walnuts (optional)

 

In one bowl you will need to mix the butter and sugar together until it is creamed. You will know once the mixture is fluffy,  has a pale yellow color, and it is well blended. Add the eggs and crushed bananas. Make sure you mix well! 

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Then add it to the wet mixture. Add vanilla.

Pour into a greased pan with whatever is easier for you. It can be with butter, butter spray, or oil. 

Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. When the time is up, you can stick a butter knife all the way to the bottom of the bread. If it comes out clean when you take it out, it is done being baked and you are good to take it out of the oven.

According to Betty Crocker, the total hours for baking is 2hr 30min. Honestly I feel that is too long just for a simple easy bread. Also, Sally’s Baking Addiction uses 2 cups of flour instead of 1 ½ cups . With my recipe it is easy to prep with the simple ingredients and is more moist with the less ½ cup of flour added. It is also shorter in time when baking than other recipes, but it still tastes more delicious!
