In the later hours of December 6th, 2021, Pahrump Valley High School parents received a phone call involving some chilling news. The phone call stated that a threat had been made to the school and that there would be extra precautions taken to ensure the safety of students on campus. A statement from the Sheriff’s office was posted not too long after. The post informed parents and students that the threat was a school shooting threat written on the wall of a bathroom stall inside PVHS. The threat said the shooting would take place on the 7th of December, the day after the threat was written. The suspect has not been discovered and not much other information has been released but it is said that there isn’t much credibility to the threat. For now, all we can do is wait and see what is to come.
