Two determined boys are going to try their hardest to secure their own spot in JV boys basketball at Pahrump Valley High School and turn it into a career. Will try to be the best and get better at basketball.
The first of these hardworking students, we have a young enthusiastic, and determined student Jesus Rios. Practicing since he was eight years old and practicing a lot he strives to play basketball here at the high school. Always practicing he even goes to an open gym where he does various drills to further improve himself. When he is not at an open gym he likes to practice basketball in his yard or sometimes with friends. If he gets on the team, he would like to play the position of power forward. Always finding it fun, he wants to get a great job from a basketball career and he is very confident that his hard work will pay off in the end. In addition to wanting to make it a career, he would like to go to UCLA College to help hone his skills and his career in the art of basketball. The second of these students is 14-year-old Corban Hadland who also goes to Pahrump Valley High School. Ever since he was five years old he has played basketball and strives to be the best there ever was in basketball. He has found it fun and entertaining to play ever since he was a child. He practices every day at his house or at a park to help better himself in playing basketball. Also if he gets in his position he would want to have the role of the point guard. When interviewing him Hadland said “I would like to go to a college that offers me a scholarship for basketball so I can go into the acting career” Therefore two young students of Pahrump Valley High School are going to try their hardest to get into the JV boys basketball team in which they are going to hone and practice their skills to get better and have great careers. So if you see them in the halls give them the big high five and wish them good luck in getting into the team. |
