In this article, I will be talking about my top three personal favorite cars from the American car brand Cadillac and explaining why they are my top three favorites. As well as a brief interview with my boss Robert on the same topic. My personal Top three favorite cars from Cadillac are the 2023 Cadillac Escalade V, followed by the 2024 Cadillac Ct5-V Blackwing ending with the 1950 Cadillac 62. I put the Escalade V first because it is ultimately my current dream car. I’ve always wanted an SUV but also wanted an obnoxiously loud car, so when Cadillac announced they were releasing their new Escalades which will be available in a V series, I knew that it would take the top of the list. This SUV has a 6.2 L supercharged V8 engine with a total horsepower of 682, a curb weight of roughly 6,000 pounds, and a 4.4 0-60. Second on my list is the 2024 Ct5-V, The Blackwing variant specifically, it has the appeal of your typical sedan but like the Escalade V, it has the appeal of being loud and flashy as well as having great overall performance. The Ct5-V Blackwing boasts a 6.2L Supercharged V8 engine that gives it 668 total horsepower and has a 3.4 0-60. Finishing off my list with a car that I have had an obsession with since I was little is the 1950 Cadillac 62 series. I have always loved that more bubble-ish style of cars from around the 50s. This had only increased when I first saw a 1950 Cadillac 62 series at a car show out here when I was little. It has that luxuriousness you would want in a good car as well as being a great statement piece, not to mention that it is massive, it is close in size to the Cadillac Escalade V.
The person I interviewed for this article is my boss 61-year-old Robert Corn. He grew up in Colorado. His first ever car was a 1966 Ford Galaxie 500, he said: “It was an alright car, got me to where I needed to be but for the most part was just your typical teen clunker”. If you see his current car you can see he’s had quite the upgrade from his Ford Galaxie, his current car is a 2017 CT6 HP 265-404, and says it is the nicest car he has ever owned. I asked specifically what he loved about his car and he said he loved the comfort, reliability, and performance. So as you can probably expect this car is at the top of his list, followed by the Cadillac CT5 HP 237-335, and wrapping up with the 1937 Cadillac Phaeton HP 135, this car made it to the list because he loves how it captures the essence of classic motorcar elegance. When asked about any issues or complaints he has about his current car, he said that he hasn’t had any complaints or issues in the four years he’s owned it.
Even though we have different lists I still agree with his list, if I couldn’t pick my top three my next three would probably be similar or the same as his. I recommend you as the reader look into these wonderful vehicles and hopefully, you can make your list of your top 3 favorite Cadillacs.
