This Winter Formal at Pahrump Valley High School was lively. The dance had such beautiful decorations from the theme of a night in Paris.
During the dance, there were three dance circles, two small circles, and a bigger circle that had everyone watching in excitement.
Halfway through the dance, the principal, Mrs. Veloz, got on that microphone and said that TikTok was about to go down and someone shouted, “Everyone let’s give five big booms for Tiktok!”. Soon after the “big booms” everyone started a conga line and it started to spiral. Close to the end of the dance, Mrs. Veloz came back on the microphone and said TikTok was now down and banned. During this, someone different shouted, “Everyone let’s give five big booms for Tiktok”.
Because the theme was a night in Paris, most of the girls’ dresses were blue, red, green, black, dark red, and dark blue. There were a few white dresses but overall the dresses were beautiful along with the makeup to go with their dresses.
At the end of the dance, the last song they played was called “Mingle” in the Netflix series, Squid Game season two, and it shocked everyone.
To put this article to an end, the dance was lovely and fit its theme just perfectly. About a quarter of people stayed all the way through while others left earlier than the rest. There were many people to start the dance and slowly got smaller and smaller but the atmosphere never changed from how lively it started. Although Tiktok had gone down during the dance everyone had an amazing time by taking pictures and dancing.
