MLB The Show 25 is right around the corner and there is much hype surrounding it. Yearly, baseball and video game fans buy MLB The Show every year when there is a new release. The game features all of the MLB teams in real life along with many modes like Diamond Dynasty, Storylines, and arguably the most popular, Road to The Show. Road to The Show is a game mode where you create your own player and go on a journey to make it to The Show. MLB The Show 25 is adding something a lot of fans are excited about. College Teams will be introduced to MLB The Show 25 in the Road to The Show game mode. Teams such as LSU, Tennessee, UCLA, South Carolina, Texas, Vanderbilt, TCU, and Cal State have all been confirmed to be in MLB The Show 25. There is a possibility that there will be other teams but for now, this is what we have to work with.
For all sports games, there is a cover athlete. Last year in MLB The Show 24, the cover athlete was Vladimir Guerrero Jr. This year, San Diego Studios tried something different. On the cover of MLB The Show 25 there are 3 rising stars, Paul Skenes, Elly De La Cruz, and Gunnar Henderson.
Lastly, one of the new additions fans are excited about is the introduction of metal bats. The feeling of hitting a perfect-timed home run is so exciting, the thrill of hitting it deep, the satisfying sound of the bat, the kind that lets you know that the ball is out of the park just by the sound. The thing about metal bats is that, they make hitting the ball even more exciting. With metal bats, the sound of the ball being hit will be incredibly satisfying. Hitting a perfect-timed home run with a metal bat would bless the ears of MLB The Show players.
