This is how to create homemade flowers out of paper. It is believed that China created the art of paper flowers by making them float on water as religious offerings. People use paper flowers more than real flowers because they are affordable and can be made quickly. There are multiple different styles when making paper flowers, and I will inform you about three different ways to make them for yourself, a loved one, or a significant other.

Paper roses might look hard, but it’s pretty easy. Get strips of paper of any color of your choice, if you would like to make more than one rose, then get more strips of paper. Next, fold the strip of paper diagonally, then fold in the corners. Moreover, fold diagonally to the opposite side, then roll in, after that, you have to fold diagonally once more. Lastly, you’ll need to secure the end and then secure the rose using an adhesive.

The second flower is paper orchids. This flower might prove more difficult than the rose, but practice makes perfect. For this flower, you are going to need: 8 1/2×11 white printer paper, a paper orchid template, paint, pencils, green card stock, 18-gauge wire and 24-gauge wire, florist tape, paint brushes, wire cutters, scissors, pink crepe paper, cricut maker, hot glue/hot glue gun, floral styrofoam, and faux moss. If you want a flower pot, then you should get that as well. When starting, first, you’ll want to download the template, then use scissors to cut out the templates with the 8 1/2×11 paper.  You can cut as many as you like, but three small blooms should be used, as well as six large blooms and eight buds. For the green leaves, one small, one medium, and two large should be used as well, but you can do what you’d like. Afterward, you’ll have to glue the petals, which makes the flowers look more like flowers. To do this, take a petal, it should have a small cut where the base is, and gently move the stem over on top of the other side. Next, secure with a dab, not much more hot glue, and gently press the middle. Repeat this process three more times for the remaining petals and buds to be used.

The next flower is an eight petal flower, and this will be one of the easiest flowers to make. All you need are scissors and square paper. With that square paper, you will need to fold it in half but diagonally, then fold that in half; making it into a triangle. Then, fold the triangle in the middle to make a smaller triangle. Turn your paper over and fold it once more. Next, cut above the edge of the paper, draw an arc, and cut. After, you should see half of a heart. When you unfold the paper, you are left with a flower. Next, you should cut a circle out of a separate piece of paper and glue it into the center of the flower. This is not the type of flower as the other two. This type of paper flower is like the type of flower that goes on your wall.
