Many of us have interacted with artificial intelligence (AI) in our daily lives, often without even realizing it. From Siri on our phones to Alexa devices, AI is becoming more popular and common in modern times. They use advanced facial and voice recognition systems to understand and respond to commands. Their ability to listen allows them to identify people and different commands, and learn new solutions to a problem. As a result, robots can process voice inputs and translate them into actions almost instantly. Their ability to quickly absorb new information and learn from experience makes them very smart and useful. In many industries, AI-powered robots are doing tasks that once needed a lot of effort and manual labor, but are now being done by AI. AIs show us how easy they can help us in our daily lives.
Understanding the different types of AI is very important in today’s world because of how advanced they are getting. AI comes in many forms, with robots and chatbots being two of the most common types. Robots are very smart machines designed to do tasks that usually mimic human actions, such as cleaning, talking, and interacting with their surroundings. These machines are especially popular in industries and large corporations. Major companies, like Walmart, employ robots to clean floors, handle inventory, and learn the store layout by using dimensions. Robots often help with tasks that require human and manual labor, making it much easier and convenient for us. But with that, we also need to make sure they are doing the job right, which is why it takes time and practice, like a dog, we can teach robots to do things for us
AI is a very controversial and touchy subject. Some people think that AI is the best thing that has ever happened, while others don’t agree. “I’m not that much of a fan,” Freshman Charisma Woodard said. Along with charisma, Freshman Everest Leavitt said ”Yes, I like it, it makes me laugh and I use it to expand my writing.” explains how he loves AI. So opinions are very mixed when the topic “AI” comes up. It’s all from different perspectives. “My favorite thing about AI is using it to help guide me in school,” expresses Leavitt. AI is a very mixed topic, it has so many negatives and so many positives. The negatives are, not 100% of the information is always correct, and that can lead people away from what they wanted to know. The pros of chatbots are like time management; they could help you solve plans for your day and can even maybe help make it less stressful; chatbots simulate human conversations so, maybe talking to them about your day would help get things off your chest, And you can get many robots to help you around the house, like the roomba, Alexa devices, and just cameras around house
AIs have been with us since 1956, and helped us in wars, and educational fields. AI has shaped our world and even though it isn’t the best and could use improvement, it got us where we are now, and that’s a huge deal for us now. Next time you come in contact with an AI, interact with it!
