Evalenne Armendariz, a junior and Journalism II student at Pahrump Valley High School, is a hardworking, student-athlete who is very family-oriented and thoroughly enjoys reading. Armendariz balances her time well, as her background consists of many honors classes as well as sports year-round. She intends to play softball at the collegiate level and spends her free time interacting with colleges to better her future. With one year of knowledge in journalism behind her, she intends to take the tools learned throughout the course on whichever path she takes in the future.
