The old season of Rainbow Six Siege (R6S for short) has come to an end. The new season is here. If you’re clueless on what R6S is it is an online tactical shooter game developed and published by Ubisoft. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on December 1, 2015. The brand new season includes a MAP REWORK CHALET, PING 2.0 NEW PING SYSTEM, MAP BAN, MATCH REPLAY, SECONDARY GADGET HARD BREACH CHARGE, NEW OPTICS AND SIGHT COLORS, REINFORCEMENT POOL, THATCHER CHANGES.

Every New season there is a free week of R6S. The main point of R6S is to either take/protect the hostage, defuse/protect the bomb, or secure/protect the biohazard container. There are two different sides of defending and attacking. There are two teams going against each other and one team attacking is always blue and the defending team is orange. There are 29 attackers including the new attacker zero and 28 defenders. All defenders and attackers have different abilities to help the team and make stats to win the game on 20 different maps to experience and learn about Rainbow Six Siege.

There are seven game modes in R6S that players that buy the game or are trying it out for free. Every game mode has its own ways of playing the multiple game modes. Situations are even included for new players getting to know what to do when playing R6S, which is Terrorists Hunt(T-Hunt) from 1-5 players vs AI. You can play this game mode at any level. Newcomer, a 5v5 made for new players, goes from level 0-50. Quick Match, which is made for any level starting at a 5v5. Unranked, which is a 5v5 and there are two ban phase map bans and operator ban and a ban 30 minute penalty if you leave the game early. In ranked, there are also two ban phase map bans and operator ban and a ban 30 minute penalty if you leave the game early and Ranking system. There are different Ranks you can get starting from Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Champion. You compete in 5v5s to rank up and at the being of every new season the ranks are restarted and fresh. Also at every new season there are 10 matches in ranked games called placements where you compete in a 5v5s in ranked up yourself and teammates that join or that are randomly picked for you. The ranking system has a system called elo from 0-Infinity every time you win a rank you get elo. That’s how you rank yourself up.

There have been 18 seasons in five years of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege in the form of downloadable content. In most of the seasons, the downloadable content has introduced a new map or a rework of an existing one and at least two new operators to play. This game has been in the works for years, adding seasonal weapon skins and operator skins. From uncommon, common, rare, epic, and legendary and an alpha pack opening system win games to get a chance to win alpha packs that have weapon and operator skins and even operators you can win.

Rainbow Six Siege is a game of time and respect and it’s meant to be hard there many more things that are going to take out or be added to R6S.
