Climate Change

Our environment is changing every day and it is changing quickly. Although we may be the cause, we are also able to help and save our environment before more of it disappears.

Climate Change

Climate change has always been around and it will continue to be around even when we are all gone but recently the change has been happening rapidly. Climate change is also affecting us as humans but it is affecting wildlife more since the environment that they live in is getting damaged by the rapid climate changes that have been happening lately and it is also affecting the things that they consume on an everyday basis such as the water, planets, and even fish because of constant weather changes.

Weather changes have been happening more and more; extreme heat waves and freezing temperatures are also happening due to the changes in our environment. Other weather changes have been happening as well in areas where the weather has never affected them and it causes concern since the weather changes affect them and their homes. There have been other weather changes that have been occurring all over the world and the more we get them the more they either expand or get bigger it is a serious issue that we have to face since it leaves little to nothing everywhere.

Animals are suffering the same way we are suffering with the changes that happen in our weather. The ice in the Artic is almost gone and we lose around 10% of the Artic every day. Multiple pictures have surfaced on the internet showing images of the polar bears that live in the Artic and it is shown how the bears have little ice left. the photos also allow viewers to see how the ice has now become water and there are just simply huge chunks of ice left but with the rapid weather changes and how the summer is slowly approaching people have shown concerns about how much ice may be left by the time the summer is over.

The Western United States has been suffering from increased heat, extended drought, and possibly dehydration but for the last two decades there has been an increase in wildfires that have been breaking out California is the main place where these fires occur and both videos and photos have been posted online on how big and out of control the fires tend to be and there are also pictures and videos showing how firefighters try to put out these fires. High temperatures and long summers could be the reason why the fires start and although there isn’t a reason as to why these fires started happening many speculate it could be the high temperatures in the weather.

There have been organizations and fundraisers in which people are trying to help the environment in any way that they can and it is said that by limiting the things that we do every day we are able to help and make a difference in the world and it may even allow for the meantime stop the drastic climate changes that happen. Online resources and organizations have ways that you can get involved and information, try and help out the environment and the animals that live in them before both of them are gone.

Although you may not be interested in climate change and the effects it has, you may know someone who is and you can get that person involved in helping. The Environmental Protection Agency is an organization created by former president Richard Nixon where you can either contact or leave a form about your concerns or questions about the environment. Contact the EPA through their website www.dtsc.ca.gov and find your state and help the environment.
