Melissa Muro-Correa, Journalist
Melissa Muro-Correa is a new journalist in her sophomore year at PVHS.
Melissa is a sister, an aunt, a goddaughter, a niece, the youngest of two siblings, a big movie person, and a picky eater. She also is a great listener. If you ever need someone to talk to or need to let something out, Melissa is always willing to help you and listen. She likes to keep things positive and believes it’s always important to keep a positive attitude even if things don’t go your way.
She loves spending time with her family and friends, baking, and reading. She loves getting together with her family and having a barbecue. She also likes baking with her nieces and nephews, although it can be pretty messy. She thinks it’s important she has a strong bond with each one of them. She was never a big reader until she was introduced to her all-time favorite American author, Colleen Hoover.
After high school, She would like to attend a trade school and study cosmetology. Growing up she always had a passion for cosmetics as her godmother is a licensed cosmetologist as well. Overall, she’s excited to be in journalism and can’t wait to see what her sophomore year holds for her. Don’t forget she’s always willing to make new friends or have a little chat!
