The Pahrump Valley JV Softball team played its last game of the season on the road against Needles, closing out a year filled with growth, determination, and achievement. Coming into this season, the Trojans had set many goals for themselves, both individually and as a team, and by the end, they were proud to say that many of those goals had been accomplished. Throughout the season, the Trojans worked each day to improve on each skill.
The Trojans started the game off strong, setting the tone early with an impressive offensive performance. They recorded a total of eleven hits in the first three innings, with the Mustangs only scoring six. There was a total of eight hits in the first three innings from the Trojans. After a short fourth inning, the Trojans finished the game strong with a final score of 15-8. Pahrump completed the game with 16 hits, 11 runs, four doubles, and a fielding percentage of .636.

Though the 25/26 softball season, each player worked hard to improve both offensively and defensively. One of the main goals defensively was to be consistent, and when an error is made, to forget it and focus on the next play. Offensively, the team was focused on quality at-bats. They learned that a good at-bat does not always result in a bit, but can still help the team by advancing runners or battling through tough pitches. Over time, the players showed noticeable improvement in these areas, with their progress clearly reflected in their final game performance.
Overall, the Trojans finished this season with a strong sense of accomplishment. Their hard work, teamwork, and perseverance paid off, not only in their wins but also in their development as players. The lessons they learned this season will continue to benefit them in the future, both on and off the field.
