Samuel Sylva, Journalist
Samuel Sylva is a Sophomore at Pahrump Valley High School. This year, he is taking Journalism 1. Even though he is new to high school journalism, he is very familiar with journalism. He wrote for Rosemary Clarke Middle School’s magazine in seventh and eighth grade. Samuel is a three-sport athlete; he plays for the boys’ soccer team here at Pahrump Valley High School. He plans on playing basketball this year for the high school, and runs track as well. After high school, Sylva plans to attend UCLA to get a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. After college, he plans to move to either Colorado or Florida, or also plans to move out of the country to either Australia or Canada.
