Iran, Israel, and the U.S. have had some disagreements and it may just be the start of something we can not ignore.
This so-called war began on February 28, 2026 when the U.S. and Israel launched airstrikes on multiple places over Iran, killing supreme leader Ali Khamenei and several other Iranian officials.

When we launched those airstrikes, the government had a few targets that they wanted to hit. The American Jewish Committee reported: “The action focused on the regime’s nuclear facilities, military infrastructure, and leadership.”
Iran answered back pretty violently by launching over 400 ballistic missiles since the start of the war. Despite Israel’s air defense system, some of the missiles made contact. The American Jewish committee also reported: “These attacks have struck populated areas and caused civilian casualties, with at least 17 Israeli civilians killed and additional deaths reported in recent days as missile strikes continue. Over 4,000 Israelis have been injured.”
Iran keeps sending more and more missiles at Israel, which many civilians cannot get away from. Many of the children are also falling victims to the war. Columbia Broadcasting System states: “Iran has demonstrated an ability to keep hitting back, albeit at a slower pace, despite 24 days of U.S.-Israeli strikes that a rights group says have killed more than 3,200 people in the country, including at least 214 children.”
Many other countries want these bombings and this war to end, which is why the Pakistan Prime Minister is trying to host talks between the U.S. and Iran. This led to Donald Trump postponing threats to bomb Iran saying there is “productive” talk happening.
One of the reasons we have high gas prices right now is because of this war. Reuters reported that: “Iran has effectively shut the waterway, where 20% of the world’s oil normally transits, since the U.S. and Israel launched attacks four weeks ago, creating the worst energy supply shock in history and sending fuel prices soaring.”

President Trump has sent all branches of military forces to the Middle East. We currently have Navy ships in their water and forces contemplating going in. The British Broadcasting Corporation reports: “Now tracking 12 US ships in the Middle East. The Abraham Lincoln, a nuclear-powered Nimitz-class carrier, together with three Arleigh Burke-class destroyers forms a carrier strike group, plus two destroyers capable of carrying out long-range missile strikes and three specialist ships for combat near to the shore that are currently positioned at Bahrain naval station in the Gulf.”
Another thing is that if we were to bomb Iran on purpose, meaning we aim for a majorly populated civilian area, it would be against the Geneva Convention, meaning that our president would be charged with war crimes and would go to a national court for trial.
This was between Israel, Iran, and the U.S. should end before we lose more civilians to bombings. Keep informed and stay safe.
