The Trojans were confident, and they showed that on the field and in their swings in the batter’s box. There were many amazing hits, moving runners into scoring positions. Also on defense, there were great catches in the outfield, and plays were made by the infielders.
The game began with the Trojans starting on offense. Adjusting to the pitcher was hard in the first inning, but the Trojans later gained control with four runs scored in the next inning.

Every chance the Trojans had on offense, they took it. Riley Saldana and Evelenne Armendariz both hit out-of-the-park home runs that game. There were a plethora of quality at-bats this game, line drives in between gaps, and some through the pitcher’s circle. All the hard practices the Trojans have done have made such a difference from this season to last season. This game was their last away game in the league, and they won 8-3.
The Trojans’ defense was very strong this game. Very few errors were made, and many great plays happened. The bench was very hyped up this game, giving support defensively and offensively. They were always celebrating when a great hit or play was made. Routine plays were made by the Trojans catching pop flies in the outfield and keeping the ball in front of the infield, achieving the outs. The Trojans had an easy-going game with the final score being 8-3; a victory for our Lady Trojans.
The Trojans have been preparing since before the season started. These girls and their coaches work hard every day at practice to make games easier and to help them in the long run. All this hard work is helping the Trojans get ready for playoffs to peak at the right moment. Let’s support our Lady Trojans!
