Seniors at Pahrump Valley High School have a legacy that needs to be shared. This is the last year of high school for the class of 2026. This is the year that they need to work the hardest, the year they have been waiting for their entire life
High school for seniors is coming to an end; all of that hard work is about to pay off as they approach the end of the school year. They have worked so hard to get where they are, and they need to know about their past and what their future holds. Some say they are ready, but half of them are going to miss all of those years of hard work and memories; in the end, it pays off. Samuel Grabbe, senior, said, “Am I ready to say goodbye to high school? Well, yes and no because I made a lot of memories here, but I need to get out of here.”

Senior year isn’t just about graduating;, it’s about shifting into adulthood. Adult life is about becoming a responsible person, paying taxes and bills, you need to find a good job, and buying food. There are a whole lot of parts about becoming an adult,; especially after high school. Payton Weaver, PVHS graduate said, “It isn’t necessarily hard once you get out of high school. Most of it is just adapting to the changes and learning the real world.”
Payton Weaver also said, “My advice would be don’t let people influence you to change your decisions and don’t let them make you miserable. You only live once. Make the most out of it while you can and enjoy everything while it lasts because you’ll never know when you will or won’t be able to do something again.” Myah Kroczyk, PVHS senior, said, “Make sure to stay on top of things to make sure the group you surround yourself with has the same goals as you, because you are who you surround yourself with.”

Staying on top of your work is something you really need to do in order to graduate. Working hard is a way to be successful; you need it to graduate, and you will still need it for a career choice. After high school, there will be things you miss, like all the memories you made, all the hard work, realizing it’s almost over and you’re finally going into adulthood.
High school is the time to think about what your future holds for you. What are you going to do for a job? College? Money? Taxes? Sometimes it’ll feel like you’re being overwhelmed, but then you’ll realize you have some time to figure out what you want. You want something that you like to do, something that you’ll enjoy every second of your life.

In conclusion, you have all of high school to figure out what you want to do for the rest of your life. When you see a senior, congratulate them on how far they have come/
