Trojans JV Softball played Green Valley on Tuesday, March 24, with good hits and team defense the Trojans won the game.
Trojans take on Green Valley with a couple tough innings and great hits on offense; the Trojans win against Green Valley. The Trojans were confident throughout the game with great team energy, keeping each other’s heads held high and spirits up. The score was 4-2 with the Trojans in the lead. Some over throws happened, and it brought runners in and that brought some players’ confidence down, but quickly they regained it. The errors lead to Green Valley in the lead with the score 9-4, but that didn’t stop the Trojans from battling back. Having good hitting with hard ground balls in between gaps and hard hits in the outfield, the score goes up 9-7. As the Trojans continue their defense, their offense only gets better. Having only let one run in, the score is now 10-7, which gives the Trojans the want to score and win. Finally, the game is tied with the score being 10-10, and the Trojans can’t let any runs in. The Trojans have a great inning with no runs let in; it’s time to get more at bats. Unfortunately, we scored no runs, but that doesn’t stop the Trojans from holding them back from scoring more runs once again; the Trojans get three outs quick. They are back up to bat and are prepared to win the game and break the tie, which they do, with runners on base and our batter, who hits the ball on the line to right field, bringing the winning run in, making the game end with the score 11-10, and the Trojans take home the win.

JV Trojans Softball is growing with each game and practice and learning from what they could have done better. They put into play what they have accomplished at practice, and it shows in the game. The team is working together to become the best they can be. Their win against Green Valley was a hard battle to get back up in the game, but they pulled through. They had to battle and make some great plays to win the game.
