Join the Club: Friendship Awaits.

This is a short article about the video game club and the participants in the club.

Some people find video games more fun than other people. Then some people like them so much that they start a video game club.

The Pahrump Valley High School Video game club is advised by Mrs. Tricia Martin. Martin enjoys being around kids and recommends that kids should join the club. She enjoys watching the club grow. One quote Martin made during the interview was when I asked her what the most challenging part about advising the club is, and she said, “Not knowing anything about video games” which could be challenging because it’s hard to lead a club you don’t know anything about. During the school day, Martin teaches Psychology, AP Psychology, and AP Human Geography. Pahrump Valley High School (Horace Langford Jr./Pahrump Valley Times)

Chance Barney says he would recommend this club to other people who enjoy bonding. I interviewed with Barney, who is the president of the club. The reason Barney thinks the Video game club is fun is because it helps connect people.

I interviewed Andrew Ramos, a student who participates in the Video game club. The reason Ramos thinks the Video game club is cool is because it is fun to play video games and not have to worry about school. Ramos also says that joining a club is a good way to meet new people and make new friends.

Some of the games the participants play are fighting and story games, such as Batman: Arkham Origins and Super Smash Bros. Some of the consoles include the Nintendo Switch, the Xbox series S, the Meta Quest, And the PS4.

To join this club you don’t have to know how to play video games, you can simply join and learn along the way. The Video game club meets on Monday and Tuesday from 2:30 to 3:30 in room 210. In closing, the Video game club is really fun, so you should go join in on the fun. File:Video-Game-Controller-Icon.svg
