The Trojans were determined to run rule Virgin Valley, but they had to be up 15. The last couple innings, the Trojans continued to get three outs every opportunity they could get. The last at bat, the Trojans were ahead but not enough to call the game.

With one hit to the outfield, bases loaded, bringing in all four runs to win the game. The Trojans defeated Virgin Valley, finishing with the score 17-2, Trojans.
The parent of 1st baseman, April Ivy, Megan Ivy, said, “I’m seeing a lot of progress since preseason, players are becoming more confident in their positions and trusting those around them.” With hard work at practice, it shows highly in games. “It’s been fun to see the progress of the team,” said Megan Ivy. When everyone works together you can accomplish so many things, especially with hard work.
Over the past six months, with the help of all the coaches, the Trojans have improved significantly, and continue to grind more and more every day. Tuesday, March 31, the Trojans play Bishop Gorman to hopefully advance their 6-7 record. Stay tuned for more updates on how the JV Softball Trojans are doing this 2026 season!
