Our Place is a fun coffee shop in Pahrump, Nevada they host karaoke nights on Fridays at 6 p.m. Our Place hosts this kind of event for community engagement and fun with customers.

Our Place provides a fun atmosphere with their dedicated karaoke setup with a small stage, microphone, and instruments. They have become very popular in the town, growing with community involvement. At these karaoke nights, Pahrump Valley High School sophomore, Anoushka Domhom, who goes to the karaoke events with her friends, pointed out that, “When you’re up there singing with your friends, it’s such a free feeling, with no judgment going on.” This type of environment makes the event so fun to be at because it is judgment free and you feel more confident doing something.

These karaoke nights have high energy music with such a lively crowd. The staff are so happy and energetic. Their energy gets the crowd more lively and involved with the music, making everyone have an enjoyable time. Not only are they super friendly and offer great service, but there are such great people to get to know. Domhom also stated, “Our Place is such an enjoyable place because of the staff they make you feel welcome and are so happy to see you at the karaoke nights.” 

Entering karaoke night is free, allowing you to just go and enjoy some music. The karaoke nights are like a miniature concert with people you are close with in the crowd singing and dancing along with you. Depending on the event, karaoke nights usually start on Fridays at 6 p.m. and go to 9 p.m. or sometimes, 10 p.m. This type of event brings so much energy for the people gathered.
