Yesterday in Florida another school shooting took place leaving at least 17 killed and another 15 injured. This is the 18th reported school shooting for 2018. The suspect has been taken into custody.

The shooter was a 19 year old former student who was expelled for violent behavior. Students say that this wasn’t the first time they had heard the student talking about shooting up the school and was often known to carry weapons at school.

The gunman was also a potential threat with the FBI, posting explicit content on Youtube claiming to be a weapons expert.

Originally the school fire alarm was pulled as a warning for students to get out but many students didn’t know or believe what was happening because they thought it was a drill for several minutes until they heard the gunshots.
