Groundhog Day is approaching very soon as it’s on February 2nd, 2023. Do you remember in elementary school when your teacher would make you color a coloring page of a groundhog? Or maybe even a class mini-party for that special day? Groundhog Day is always February 2nd in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. The mayor brings out the groundhog and if the animal sees its shadow, we will have six more weeks of winter. If the animal doesn’t see its shadow spring will come early. It’s been very cold here in Pahrump so let’s hope that groundhog doesn’t see its shadow folks!
